6. Rates and Booking Terms

6.1 Published Rates

Room rates and any applicable packages displayed on the Website are quoted in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and are inclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST) at the prevailing rate, unless otherwise stated. Rates are subject to availability and may change without notice until a confirmed booking has been issued.

6.2 Booking Conditions

The following general conditions apply to all reservations confirmed through the Website. Specific rates or promotional packages may carry additional conditions, which will be communicated at the time of booking.

Condition Detail
Minimum check-in age 18 years. A valid government-issued photo identification document must be presented at check-in.
Payment Full payment or a valid credit card guarantee is required to secure a reservation. Details are provided at the time of booking confirmation.
Cancellation Cancellation terms vary by rate type and are specified in your booking confirmation. Non-refundable rates cannot be cancelled without charge.
Amendments Requests to amend a confirmed booking (including changes to dates or room type) are subject to availability and may result in a rate adjustment.
No-show A no-show may result in the full value of the reservation being charged in accordance with the applicable rate conditions.
Group bookings Reservations of five or more rooms are treated as group bookings and are subject to separate group terms available upon request.

6.3 Errors in Pricing

While we take reasonable care to ensure the accuracy of all rates displayed on the Website, errors may occasionally occur. We reserve the right to correct any pricing error and to cancel or not honour bookings made at an erroneously low rate, with full notification and refund of any amounts charged in error.

7. Age Restriction

Entry to the casino floor and participation in any gaming activity at the Calvessian property is strictly restricted to individuals who are aged 18 years or over, in accordance with the Gambling Act 2003 (New Zealand). This requirement applies at all times, without exception.

Valid proof of age — such as a New Zealand driver licence, New Zealand passport, or other government-issued photo identification — may be requested by our staff at any time. Any person unable to produce satisfactory proof of age will be refused entry to gaming areas.

The Website is not directed at, and should not be used by, individuals under the age of 18. By using the Website, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age.

You agree that the courts of New Zealand shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim that arises out of or in connection with these Terms or their subject matter, save that we reserve the right to bring proceedings against you in any other jurisdiction where you reside or where a breach has occurred.
